A Forbidden Meeting – TT
Posted by chitien on December 25, 2007
An innocent get together
Arranged on the internet
A bad idea in the making
But senses were ignored
A quiet walk through the cooling air
A little excitement danced in my head
A natural high from finally meeting
A short lived joy that will come with a price
A phone call to inform her of my arrival
A brief anticipation interrupted by her voice
A quick greeting with a good eye contact
A shocked expression appeard out of no where
Her parents has just appeared on the block
A few ideas were exchanged
“go now, I’ll call you later” she said
To the other direction I quickly went
A circle around the block
Deciding to head away
A sudden phone vibration
Is it still wise to meet up again?
She waited at the specified location
I saw her smiling expression from a far
However that quickly turns to worry
We both know the worse is to come
The hopeless feeling flowed through the air
The impending doom we know will follow
Regrets fill the merciless winter winds
But we can’t undo what we have done
We headed to the local store
Trying to come up with an excuse
However we know that it won’t work
So we parted ways with sorrow over head
Why should she have to pay for my mistake
I will take the blame for everything today
But how can I fix what has been done
Ah of course, the truth will set her free
She took the blame on her own
Refusing to accept my master plan
What will her parents think of me
Could I ever see her again
